About us!

Calgon Farms is home to Eve Morong and Andy Maltz.  We live on California's Central Coast in the small town of Atascadero. 

We are also raising two young Spanish Mustangs ~ a mare (Mama Maya) and her filly (Summer Solstice) from the Brislawn herd, and their bloodline goes back to Christopher Columbus' horse. We  adopted them in April, 2022 - Maya was 2-1/2 years old and Summer was all of 10 months old when they arrived from Return to Freedom Wild Horse Sanctuary  in Lompoc, CA, where they both were born. It's been a journey, growing and learning how to be with, train, and nurture these beautiful gals!

Accompanying them on the Farm are 3 Nigerian Dwarf goats, Sundance~ (Tan ), Butch~(White), and Etta~(Black).
(Names are from Butch Cassidy and The Sundance kid ~ Etta was the girlfriend.)

Rounding out the menagerie are Oscar and Emmy,  our terrier pups rescued in 2018 at 10 weeks old ~ and now 6!
